Terms of Service

These terms will govern your use of MotoChecklist.

Reference figures in the app

For some items (such as tire pressures or chain slack), MotoChecklist shows a manufacturer reference figure for you to check against. Where it doesn't have a confirmed value for your bike, it shows "check your manual" instead of a figure — it doesn't invent numbers. In the app, these reference figures appear alongside a reminder to check them against your own vehicle, its owner's manual, and the tire/door placard.

Using the app

MotoChecklist is offline-first and stores your data on your device; there is no account. How the app handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.

The operative Terms of Service are not yet written and must not be invented here. Counsel needs to supply app-specific, reviewed text for at least: the contracting entity (Zugunruhe Labs LLC) and acceptance of terms; the license to use the app and acceptable-use limits; intellectual-property ownership; a reference-information / spec-value disclaimer and the rider's responsibility to verify those figures against the vehicle and to keep the motorcycle safe to operate (the section above only describes how the app presents reference figures — the binding disclaimer and allocation of responsibility must be drafted here, not there); disclaimers of warranties; limitation of liability and indemnification; termination; changes to the terms and their effective date; and governing law and dispute resolution.
